Velocity-X is seeking a highly motivated and self-directed professional to fill the role of Software Engineer to support our team in Northern Virginia. The candidate will be a member of a software development team supporting cloud based application development.

Required Qualifications: 

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in multiple modern program languages and data stores supporting activities listed in the position description
• Golang or Java programming language for api development
• AWS experience
• Docker

Desired Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of DevOps, release engineering and operations approach to automate deployments
• Kubernetes
• Anisble
• Terraform
• Blockchain experience
• Google Cloud Platform experience
• Keycloak or similar Identity and Access Management tool
• Demonstrated experience working in an Agile scrum team environment
